Puer Tea Brick

A ripened, variety in the Puer family. Hailed from Yunnan Province, China. The selected sun-dried large-leaf variety raw green tea "mao cha" is taken through laborious pile-fermentation process called "wo dui" before it is steamed and compressed into shape. Its reddish-brown tea leaves give a dark red and clear infusion with a distinct aged wood aroma. The unique flavour is mellow, subtle and velvety smooth. It is a mild and pleasant drink, very gentle on the stomach, drinking in moderation will helps eliminate grease, break down fat and lower cholesterol, ideal for daily consumption.

Brewing Hints: Add 1pc of tea into brewing vessel with capacity of approximately 250cc. Pour in fresh boiled water at 95°C and drain  the tea infusion immediately. First brew is not for drinking, the purpose is for unfurl and moisten tea leaves, it helps release the full flavour for a satisfying brew. For second brew, refill the brewing vessel with 95°C of fresh boiled water, infuse for approximately 30 seconds to extract the full flavour and serve. It is good for several brews.
