Deep Crimson Roses
Mainly planted in the Yunnan Province of China. This rose species originates from France. The flower growers hand-pick fresh, half-open rose buds early in the morning, one bud at a time. These buds are then carefully preserved by vacuum freeze-drying to ensure that all their natural properties are retained.
The large and globular blooms have velvety, deep crimson petals. As they slowly unfurl in the water, an elegant aroma swirls up. The smooth, sweet infusion is packed with nutrients. Free from artificial flavours and colouring, this is the purest herbal beverage one can enjoy any time.
Rose Tea has a unique flavour, and a rich content in Vitamin C, anthocyanins, citronellal and citronellol. Taking rose tea helps beautify the skin, lighten the complexion, eliminate fatigue and promote metabolism; meanwhile, it also helps ease the mood and relieve depression.
The roses bloom between April and December. Rose buds half opened early in the morning have their natural properties fully retained, and hence, are packed with nutrients.

Place 1 deep crimson rose into a brewing vessel with capacity of 300cc-500cc. Pour in hot water at 70°C. The translucent light blue infusion will gradually turn pale red. Steep for 2 to 3 minutes and serve. Where necessary, gently swirl the tea brewing utensil or use a teaspoon to separate the petals to help them get back to shape and release the flavour. It is good for multiple infusions, just refill hot water at 70°C to the brewing vessel and increase the steeping time a bit. Repeat until the flavour fades.
An appropriate amount of goji berries, honey or rock sugar can be added according to personal preference.
- Possible bruising and pressing when the rose buds are being harvested and dried may result in the deposit of natural sap or fluid on the surface of the petals and receptacle; this may appear in the form of fine white powder or tiny white bits. As natural substance of the roses, it is safe for consumption.
- The anthocyanins is a water-soluble flavonoid pigment and turns pale over time. This is a natural phenomenon.
- Anthocyanins released by the deep crimson roses in the course steeping will manifest changes according to the pH values in drinking water - alkalinity causing it to turn blue or green, acidity causing it to turn yellow or red. This is a natural phenomenon and is not a cause for worry.
- Deep crimson roses are pure natural plants; as such, the size of individual buds may vary.
