Originally from the Yunnan Province, this premium Pu’er is a post-fermented tea. Harvested from large-leafed trees, fresh leaves undergo pile fermentation to produce "ripe" pu'er. The reddish brown leaves give a bright coppery red infusion with a mellow and sweet aftertaste. A gentle and mild brew, it is an everyday beverage that is great for health in general and easing digestion after a heavy meal.
Hailed from the Yunnan Province, Puer Tea is made with tealeaves harvested from the large-leaf tea trees. The processing of freshly-picked leaves involves fixing, rolling and sun-drying to yield maocha (green raw tea), known as Dian Qing, literally Yunnan Green. Sun-dried maocha is then moistened, piled and covered for "pile fermentation", after which tea leaves are air-dried, screened and sorted. The brownish-red "ripened" puer tealeaves have a uniquely mellow aroma. The bright reddish infusion is well rounded on the palate with a smooth, long finish. Mild in nature, puer tea is a great daily beverage with health benefits.
