HANG ZHOU WHITE CHRYSANTHEMUM
Hang Zhou White Chrysanthemum is used to make tea which enjoys the same status as the widely acclaimed Long Jing Green Tea. When steeped in boiling water, the buds open up and unfurl into translucent white petals. This is accompanied by an elegant aroma, prompting drinkers in the days of old to describe these superior chrysanthemum buds as "lucid jade of a thousand layers". Brewing Time: Steep about 5 minutes. Drink it plain if prefer a rather natural refreshing taste and floral aroma. Alternatively, add in rock sugar, honey or Chinese wolfberry to enhance its thirst quenching effect.
Storage: Keep away from sunlight, heat, moisture and odour
The chrysanthemum will release its contents of chlorophyll and anthocyanidin after extended steeping. The tea infusion may turn green from bright yellow. It is normal and safe for drinking.
