Purple Cane Shou Mei White Tea Year 2016 Fujian (300g)

Product Introduction

White Tea is lightly fermented tea produced mainly in the Fujian Province, China. This tea is made with leaves of the Dabai (Big White) variety harvested from the Dayang Mountain Ecological Tea Region in Panxi Town, Fuding City, the Fujian Province. Following the traditional crafting process, fresh tealeaves are first withered by way of natural airing, and then drying before being screened and sorted. After two years in the storage, the leaves being compressed into shape and reheat for further drying. The tea cakes feature leaves in largely uniform sizes and shapes, sporting a greyish-green shade and fine, white hair on the surface. They yield a yellowish-orange refreshing infusion with wonderful aroma. The mouthfeel is full-bodied and smooth, and the flavour mellow and pleasant. Noted for its effect in dissipating internal heat, the soothing beverage is ideal for any time of the day.
